Finally!!!

I don't know what is so hard about remembering to take pix of my creations. I always think of it either after the flap is sealed, or after I give them to the mailman!
I always say I have a swiss cheese brain. And I really do. I lived a very traumatic childhood. Although most didn't know it, as I was good at hiding it. It's not important what the trama was, I've worked it through, so it's not a problem for me now. However... as a result, my memory has cleared out much of those bad memories.

The problem... it's a bit like throwing the baby out with the bath water. In order to get rid of the bad junk, the good stuff went too.
I've often called my friend Ellie my memory holder. There are many times when she will say "Do you remember when we did such and such..." and I will not recall anything of the sort. So she will replay the memory and sometimes I get a glimmer, and sometimes not. But it's always fun to sit and reminisce with her. The only problem now is that I live on the east coast, and she's in New Mexico. We could only live farther apart if she lived in Hawaii, or Japan! lol To say I miss her is an understatement. Ellie is the last link to my childhood except for mom which is going to be 90 on her next birthday. She can't remember this morning's breakfast, so my child hood is out of the question. But I miss Ellie for other reasons too. She is such a lovely woman. Always sweet and caring. I hope We'll get to be together again some day. But at least she knows I love her. How in the world did we get to be this old? Holy cow! That woman in the mirror can't be me....can it...

Ah well, moving on. I hope you enjoy the pix today. The first one is a bad pic of my neice's birthday card.I may try to fix it and then show you the inide. The Long narrow one is for my (almost) DIL's parent's 50th anniversary. And the other one is for my MIL's Birthday. Thanks for taking a peek.
