Following Blogs

I just realized that there are 23 people following my Blog!!! This really surprizes me as I am so lax in posting to it! I guess I'm so busy hopping from blog to blog, that I don't have the time to post here!
I know, I know, it's a poor excuse. But a poor excuse is better than none, and it is the truth. I get so many wonderful creative ideas from all your blogs. I spend about 2 hours every morning hopping around. So I decided I had to reduce the number of blogs I follow, so I could have more time here. It was very hard to do. But I've gone from following almost 40 to 28! So please don't take it personally. I may put all the URL's that I've deleted in a journal, so I can check them out now and then. It's sooooo easy to keep adding them as there are so many wonderfully creative women out there who have beautiful work and great ideas. But, as I said, there's only so much time.

On to the Christmas stuff. I have gotten almost all my christmas cards done. There's only about 5 or 6 left and I'll go do them when I finish here. But the ones that are done are addressed and stamped and ready to go out. Except for the square ones which I have to pay extra postage for. So the stamped ones go out tomorrow morning.
I still don't have my tree, as Don's been working lots of over time. He just came in from working this morning, and he's turned his ankle! The machines he uses at work have little steps up and down, and if you're not paying attention... well you get the gist. We were going to get our tree today, but it's raining, and his ankle is soaking. So we probably won't go get it today. But that's ok, the rain makes my pain level rise, so I'm not in the mood to decorate anyway.

And then there's Christmas Shopping. I have the gifts for my sons and my grandson. I'm making jewelry for some of the girls. But I'm usually finished shopping by the end of November. But with the economy the way it is,and my back problems, I haven't been able to shop. So I'm thinking I'm going to do the rest of my shopping online. Did you know that Walmart will deliver! Holy Santa batman, I never knew! I guess it's a good thing as my big shopping days are probably behind me. (unless I have someone to help me get my scooter from the car trunk! So anyway, as soon as I get my Christmas money in my hot little hand its off to Walmart.com. I hope it will still be here in time for Christmas. If not I'll have to try to get away to do the best I can in their little zoom zoom carts. We'll see.
