Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you are all ready for Christmas or what ever holiday you celebrate. Our tree finally went up last Saturday and Sunday. With a little help from Don, Matt and Tina (my son and his girlfriend.) We got the job done. Then a couple of days ago I finally got most of the wrapping done. There are 2more that I'm going to use my Crucut to make boxes for, so I'll do that today. And we have to grocery shop today. Yuk!

I can only imagine Walmart at this late date! But I just have to find the parking space, and Don goes in and does the shopping. Then he comes out grumpy because he's spent too much money and "got nothing for it". But mostly because people are always so rude! They will park their cart in the middle of the aisle, next to the neighbor they haven't said hello to in months. Then they will block the aisle while they 'catch up'
Of course they are most indignant when you ask them to move. You get the eyes rolling "Am I in your way?" response. Don doesn't do well with that. I told him to get am electric cart, people will stay out of his way. But that's probably not a good idea either... he might run them over on purpose!!! No no no, only kidding. He just isn't good with crowds. I try to help but I get in his way more than help. So he comes out grumpy and sounds off for a few moments and then he's all better!

Tomorrow my son's and their girlfriends will come over for a bit. Hopefully I've got battery charged enough for a few pix. Don and I have decided we'll get a new camera when the tax money comes! Yay, But I really need new batteries and a new charger. This one only works on one side! And the batteries are just too old. So maybe today I'll check out some new batteries.... we'll see. I'm going to get my hair cut, that's for sure. It's been falling into my eyes for months now! I hate that!

I've gotten some lovely Christmas cards from friends and family. I even heard from my cousin whom I haven't heard from in a couple of years! It's just to easy to loose contact. Now I've got her email address, so we should keep in touch more often now. She and I are the last of our generation in my mom's family. I never knew my father or his family. And my step dad had only a sister, who had no children. Small family huh!

So I hope this finds you all happy and healthy and enjoying your family and friends during this wonderful season. Merry Christmas to all.
