Christmas miracles?

So if you were to ask me what I want for Christmas, I'd say "To have all my boys and their girls around me."
As some of you know I have two sons (Pete and Matthew) and two grandsons (Michael and Joseph). My oldest grandson, Michael, is now 24. The last time I saw him he was around 16. His mom moved around a lot so I've lost touch with him too many times to count. It's always been difficult for me, and especially around the holidays.
On Friday evening, my Son, Pete, called me to tell me that Michael found Joseph on facebook! Hooray! Hooray! Hooray! Michael asked Joseph if he thought we wanted to be in touch with him... How sad, that he doesn't realize how loved and missed he's been all these years! So after talking to Pete, then to Joseph, I got on my facebook page, and found Joseph's page then Michael's. I sent Michael a message along with my friend request. On his page, I also found a wonderful batch of photos. He's in the Marine Corps! I am so proud!Eventually I went to bed and slept fitfully.

In the morning (at 5am when I couldn't wait any longer!) I checked my email, and there it was!!! A response to my request. And a friend request from his lovely wife, Nicole, too! And to add to the wonderfulness of it all.... you'll never guess....I'm a Great Grandmother!!!!

Of course I'm great at being a grandmother, but you know that's not what I mean.
lolol Anyway, Michael and Nicole have a gorgeous little girl! Her name is Hailey Breann and she was born in early September! So she's just 3 months old.

So do you believe in miracles? Or Christmas Miracles? I believe in both kind! And here is my very own Christmas Miracle
I wish you all a very merry Christmas, and I hope you have your own miracle!
Hugs,
Jessica

I can not read this without crying and I already knew! This is just so amazing...a true testament to what the season is REALLY about. I am so very happy for you! I never (I was born blond!) put together that Joseph was missing a brother. How very very sad for these young men. I sincerely hope that Michael's mother never has to know the pain you all have had to endure because of her bad choices. I also hope that Joseph and Michael get a shot at a real relationship! I bet Michael having his own baby girl brought a lot of what he was missing to the surface.

With your Christmas miracle and my Christmas miracle (Tobias surgery) we should be set for the next 10 or so years!!!

Merry Christmas to you and yours!!

oh and Miss Hailey is absolutely the cutest girl I've seen! That little tongue cracks me up every time!
