So here I am again. I was trying to upload some photo's but as usual, the batteries wouldn't hold a charge. I was hoping Santa would bring some new ones. But Don told me that he wants to get a new camera when we get our income tax back! Cool huh, then I'll get new batteries and a new charger too! This charger is only working on one side. Sigh... So I charge up the batteries, put them in the camera and take one or 2 pix, and out it goes. So I recharge them and try to upload my pics and I get one done and the camera goes out. So I think it's going to take me a week to get the few pix I took at Christmas onto the computer.
Can you hear me growling? Well it is what it is, so I'll just have to make due till we get the new camera. I guess I shouldn't complain. We got this one at a pawn shop about 5 years ago. So it's served it's purpose. And the battery charger I got at Radio Shack right afterward. It wasn't very expensive, so it's done well too.
So hopefully come February I'll be able to take some photos of the cards I make without such drama! I do not like drama! Of course I can't control that, so I'll just have to write on this blog instead os show y'all my photos.
Yesterday marked a year that I started at Debby's Dare blog. She did a challenge that lasted all year. It was called "All About You in 52." Every Monday she posed a question and we were to make a scrap layout answering that question. I didn't upload all my entries. And I didn't do all of the pages. But I have added all the questions into my journal. So as time goes by I will get them all done. The idea was that since we are the ones taking the photo's, we are often not in our own family albums. So with this project, when we are done, we'll have at least 52 pages about ourselves. It has been a wonderful experience. And when I'm finished, my sons will have a little picture into who I am. So when I'm gone. they'll have it to remember me by. So thanks for the memories Debby!
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, my birthday is a week away! I can't believe I'll be 61...Am I that old? Well I guess I am, but we won't talk about that will we...
Ok, onward into the new year....I wish you all a Happy and Safe New Years Eve. and a Peacefull and happy 2010!
