Ok today I'm not able to comment of many of the blogs I follow! I tried to comment on Sherry's blog and it wouldn't let me. Then I realized it show's me not signed in. So I clicked the sign in link, and it takes me to my own Dashboard. So I click on Sherry's blog again and there it is, but I'm signed off again, so I clike on the link to signin, and it takes me back. As you can see it's a pain.
So Sherry, I love your cards, I've been wanting to do a shaker card for quite a while. But still haven't done it. And Frankie is too cute. You've been a busy bee!

I don't know if I told anyone or not, but a couple of weeks ago, Don gave me $75.00 to spend on what ever I want. I needed new undies, but did I buy them... of course not! lol So what did I buy you might ask... Well, my little LSS had moved just a bit farther from me than it was, and I haven't been able to get over there. But in the mean time, they moved again, but not to worry, they left me a forwarding address! lol So yesterday Don and I went out to this restaurant he's been wanting to go to, for his birthday. They have a 25oz steak for 2!!! We didn't get it since it was only lunch. But I saw it carried out from the kitchen....... IT WAS HUGE!!! We had burgers and fries and onion rings. And Oh my gosh, the amount of food! It was really good, but I couldn't eat it all! And I wondered why there were so many patrons who are a bit on the chubby side... Well a bit over .... more like a lot over chubby! But as usual, I digress...:)
It so happened that this place was about 3 or 4 blocks away from the place where my LSS moved to!!! Imagine that! lol So I asked if he minded if I stopped there, since we were right there. He said no he didn't mind. What a guy!!! So I went in and finally found the paper holder, storage thingy that I had wanted for a long time. And at a great price. And I got a couple other little things. But the other really good thing I got is a Flower Soft kit!!! I know you've heard of it, but have you tried it? Oh this stuff is sooooo much fun to play with. I do wish I had gotten a couple more empty bottles while I was there. I did get one. But I think I'll get one with each new color I get. I got the Lavendar and Lace kit, and an extra pot of "spring" color mix. I sat and watched tv last night and made 5 little wire's with the lavendar "flowers" on and cut out the cone and the backing it goes on while watching a one hour show! I went from start to finish in an hour. And it looks like it took a long time! I've taken some pics, but the batteries went dead, so I can't load them yet. But I will as soon as they recharge.
If I can do this, anyone can. Even though it looks intricate, it's rally easy. Just do yourself a favor, get some other larger containers to keep each color in, because the little pots are crammed completely full, and you need to be able to sprinkle it. But if you don't have a larger container to put it in, you'll waste a lot of product. The kits come with a lot of papers, card pieces you attatch to the cards you make, the wires, ribbons and 2 pots of color. The Flower Soft itself comes in a bunch of different colors and a little goes a long way. You don't have to buy a kit, you can get each pot of color and the glue and some larger containers and just use it with your stamps or cricut cuts. I just love this stuff!
Hmmmmm I wonder if they'd pay me to do a commercial.... :) Well, they could pay me in flower soft! lol
Well, I'm off to try to get Mother to eat something. I hope you all have a great day.
