The any hero cards

Here are the patriotic cards I made to send as Any Hero Cards for the troops over seas. But I think our folks in Texas need them more right now.

Tonight while I watch TV, I think I'll make some more. It will make me feel better about the whole thing. And I hope our cards will help them feel better. It was strange that I bought the Stand and Salute cartridge for no reason other than I'm patriotic. And now all of a sudden there is a reason for me to use it....hhmmmm God works in mysterious ways his wonders to perform...

I hope y'all have a good Sunday night.

Beautiful cards! It is so heartbreaking that such a horrible thing could happen - especially by one of their own. The betrayal...I just can't even imagine it. You have a heart of gold girl! Fantabulous job!

Hi Jessica,
Thanks for your so sweet comments over on my blog!! The stamp set I used in the video for the OWH Memorial Day blog hop was from The Greeting Farm. The set was called Hero. I tried to get you a link but don't see it on their site. Here is her link to her store:
http://thegreetingfarm.com/shop/
I would email her. She is very supportive of the military and actually GAVE this set to me, as she heard my brother was serving in Iraq. She might have the set still and just does not have it listed on her site.
Thanks again and I will pass on your sweet comments to my brother!
Blessing, Karen

Hey Jessica,
Good, I hope you can get the set! Very cute! If not, email me back (lilacsandlupines@yahoo.com) and I am happy to stamp some images of the solider and send them to you to color or whatever!
I send cards to Operation Write Home too! Are you taking part in the blog hop this week? I am ...should be neat!

My brother is stateside right now and is at the Pentagon working with the Joint Chief of Staff. This is his second time at the Pentagon, as he was there on 9/11 and I think he wishes he was deployed. He is a Marine Harrier Jet pilot and I think he would much rather be doing what he trained for. :) Gotta say, as a family member, I am thrilled he is stateside! :)

Anyways, let me know about the stamp...as I said, happy to send you some images!

Fabulous cards Jessica for a GREAT cause. Ft Hood is our home base...Love the designs.

Thanks for visiting my blog. My sister's baby is named after me. I am loosely named after my grandfather (who passed away when my dad was 6). His name was Charles.

Have a great week! Thank you for reaching out to our troops!

Jessica...thank you for visiting my blog...loving these cards... great blog!!....

To answer your question I make an A2 card..so the card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2...for the frame piece I cut a piece of paper 4 x 5 1/4 and then for the background piece I cut at 3 3/4 x 5...I do this on the inside too...along with another piece for the sentiment at 3 x 4 1/4 usually... sometimes I cut that one a little larger...I do this on all my cards... I just like the frame piece...I like what it adds to a card...hope that this helps!!
Hugs
Jeannie

Well done. I'm so proud of our troops. An Army mom, I cried over Ft. Hood as much as any American. These are great cards which will be greatly appreciated.
